In our continuous attempt to improve our services, we have changed the number used for our mobile banking services.
 
Starting from 4th of May, the new number for our EIBMobile service will be 4450 instead of 5501550.
 
 

MOBILE Service is a unique SMS–based banking service which allows you access to your account information anywhere, anytime. You can choose to receive SMS alerts automatically at pre-defined times or you can "pull" information on-demand at any time using simple SMS commands. MOBILE Service has a wide range of functions to choose from, so now your banking with us is literally at your fingertips.

If you are an existing BankNet User, you can subscribe, modify or cancel Mobile banking services by clicking on the "EIBMOBILE" option of the Main Menu.

If you are an existing EIBMOBILE user, subscrible to BankNet now and add/maintain your profile instantly.

By using BankNet, you can maintain EIBMOBILE services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A. Push
This function is an automated service set by the customer according to his/ her selections. Messages will be sent depending on any changes to the subscribers bank account or request.

1. ATM POS Transaction
When funds are debited from your account upon any Point of Sale transaction.

Message Format
"AED 1,800.00 has been deducted from your account as POS transaction... Visit www.emiratesislamicbank.ae"

2. ATM Transaction
Customers will be able to receive a short message when funds are transferred or utility payments transactions are made through any ATM - Automated Teller Machine.

Message Format
"AED 1,700.00 has been withdrawn from your account as ATM transaction. The available balance of your account is AED 5,000.00"

3. Available Balance
The bank will send you a message on your mobile phone regarding the available balance of your account at a frequency and time specified by you. The frequencies for available balance are:

  • Monthly

  • Fortnightly

  • Weekly

  • Daily

4. BankNet Transactions
When funds are transferred from your account or when funds are credited to your account or utility payments transactions are performed through BankNet, the bank will send you a message for such a transaction.

5. Cheque Returns
Cheques issued by you are returned unpaid -
this function will provide you with a SMS message if for any reason the cheque issued by you is returned unpaid.

Message Format
"***CHEQUE RETURNED*** Your cheque number 987654 with amount AED 1,000.00 has been returned unpaid. Please contact your branch."

Cheques deposited by you are returned unpaid - this function will enable you to receive SMS messages on your mobile phone if any cheque deposited by you in your account is returned unpaid.

Message Format
"***CHEQUE RETURNED*** A cheque deposited in your account 0015-123456-001 of AED 1,000.00 has been returned unpaid. Please contact your branch."

6. Phone Banking Transaction
You will be able to receive a message when funds are transferred or utility payments transactions are made through IVR.

7. Salary Credit
For those who want to know when the salary has been posted to your account, this function is the right tool. The bank will send you a message on your mobile phone as soon as your transaction is posted to your account.

9. Telegraphic Transfer
To keep a track of your telegraphic transfers, you can apply for this function. No need to call and inquire from the bank. We will send you the message as and when we post the amount into your account.

B. Pull:
This function is a self-service type concept where the account holder requests information about his/ her own account or Card using specific codes which are listed against each function below. A prompt message will be sent back to the customer from MOBILE Service with the relevant information. The speed of how fast does the customer get back a reply is dependent of the service provider.

1. Account Summary
This function will enable you to view all the suffixes available to your basic account together with the currency and account description of each suffix.

Simply key in:ASXXXXXXXXXX (The XXXXXXXXXX stands for the 10 digits of your account number)

For Example, if your account number is 0015-123456 and you want to receive the account summary, the message format will be: AS0015123456

2. Available Balance
This function will enable you to view the present available balance of any available account type (CA, SB, TID, Murabaha) with the Currency and the debit/ credit status.

Simply key in: ABXXXXXXXXXXXXX (The XXXXXXXXXXXXX stands for the 13 digits of your account number)

For Example, if your account number is 0015-123456-001 and you want to receive the balance, the message format will be: AB0015123456001

"As per your request, AED 1,000.00 is Available Balance for your account 0015-123456-001 today"

3. Card Details
This function will enable you to view details of the your Card. These details include total credit limit, available credit, and present balance.

Simply key in: CDXXXXX (The XXXXX stands for the last 5 digits of the Card number)

For Example, if your Card Number is 1234-5678-1234-9876 and you want to receive the Card Details, the message format will be: CD49876

 Example of  Message Format
"For the card number you have specified Cr limit is AED 10,000.00 Avail Cr is AED 9,998.50 Present Bal is AED 1.50"

4. Card Payment Details
This function will enable you to view payment details of your Card. The details include total payment due, and payment due date.

Simply key in: PDXXXXX (The XXXXX stands for the last 5 digits of the Card number)

For Example, if your Card Number is 1234-5678-1234-9876 and you want to receive the Card Payment Details, the message format will be: PD49876

 Example of Message Format
"For the card number you have specified Total payment due is AED 0.00 Payment due date is 22Jan03"

5. Exchange rates
This function will enable the user to view and of the 21 foreign currency rates. It will display the buy and the sell rate against AED.

Simply key in: FXzzz (The zzz stands for the currency code required)

Available Currencies: (AUD, BHD, BDT, CAD, LKR, INR, JPY, JOD, KWD, OMR, NOK, PKR, QAR, SAR, SGD, SEK, SCHF, GBP, USD, EUR, NZD, BKK, HKD)

For Example, if you want to find out the US Dollar rate against AED rate simply key in FXUSD

Example of Message Format
"As per your request, the USD rate against AED is: Buy rate 3.653000 Sell rate 3.685000"

6. Mini Account Statement
This function will enable you to view the last 4 transactions of your account, displaying the date, description, amount and dr/cr status of each transaction.

For Example, if your account number is 0015-123456-001 and you want to view the last 4 transactions of the account, displaying the date, description, amount and Dr/Cr status of each transaction, the message format will be: MAS0015123456001

The function will enable you to pay your Etisalat Bills, such as Mobile, landline, Internet account, Al Shamil, e-vision and Wasel numbers.

Simple key in: ETIPAY xxxxxxx yyy ( The xxxxxxx is your consumer number, and the yyy is the amount you will pay ).

For WASEL RENEWAL:

Simple Key in: ETIPAY xxxxxxx WAS ( The xxxxxxx is your consumer number)
